It might sound very silly (it really does actually).

But I've been studying the usage of Qnet through the QNX manuals, and all that message passing, resource manager, etc., 
explanations, start with the point that you have already the Qnet up and running, with the /net folder already present 
and nodes with their proper known names.

What is not very clear to me, and hence the questions, is how to bring up Qnet:

1 - What is the physical medium that it works on? (the illustrations lead me to think is just normal ethernet connected 
to a hub)
2 - How do I set up my node name? (all examples talk about communicating with a known name node, but how do I set this?)

3 - What would be the steps for running it and making my node available for others, and be able to find others?
