Trouble running from SDP CD on a new platform
I am porting from an XploreTech iX104C5 to an iX104C6. I am using the QNX SDP Bootable CD with APIC. I am trying to run
from the CD. At the point where it should give me a choice of continuing to boot or install I get a message saying it
can not find a 6.1 or later file system to mount. It then lets me select scanning for a driver disk or abort. At this
point, I expect it was trying to mount the USB CD filesystem.

Since the USB keyboard seems hung, I suspect the USB 3.0 controller is causing problems seeing the USB CD. Is there a
work arround for this problem?

The PCI USB device is an intel device id 9C31.

I tried skipping the QNX boot disk and installed my embedded software from the older platform. The USB keyboard was hung
 there too. Dumping the USB devices from the .profile showed no USB devices! looking at processes, all 3 USB controller
 drivers were present.

Any help would be useful.

Thanks,
Jan

Re: Trouble running from SDP CD on a new platform
I forgot to mention, I am using QNX 6.5.0 the the QNX SDP does not have SP1 installed.

There are actually 2 PCI USB PCI devices
V = 8086, D = 9C31, Bus = 0, Device = 20, Function = 0
V = 8086, D = 9C26, Bus = 0, Device = 29, Function = 0

Sorry, my initial message with these details did not get posted so the abobe one was done hastily,
Jan.
