kernel crash
Hello.

One of our systems that we upgraded to 6.5.0 is crashing randomly. We've removed most of our code so that it's not
running any of our drivers or low-level code, and the symptom doesn't change.

I read the article on reading a kernel dump, but looking at the attached screen shot, I'm not quite sure where to begin,
because the process name isn't identified.

And in any event, I thought the whole point is that it's supposed to be impossible for a program to crash the kernel :)
For what it's worth, the same code is running on various other x86 systems with Intel CPUs with no problem. This
particular system uses a VIA C3.

I wouldn't rule out a hardware problem, although the same system has been running 6.3.2 for years without any trouble,
and after these kernel crashes on 6.5.0, we reinstalled 6.3.2 and it's running fine again.

Any ideas on how best to track this down would be appreciated.

Thanks,
lew
