Floating Point Standards under QNX
Hi,

I would like to know what format is used for QNX floating point numbers? I have seen that most people use IEEE 754-1985
to represent floating point numbers, is this true as well for QNX?

Thanks.

The floating point format is dictated by the FPU hardware rather than the OS.

All the systems we currently run on use the IEEE format for floating
point numbers. I rather doubt anybody would design new hardware that doesn't
use that format but you never know, someone might give us a billion dollars
to port to an IBM 370 :-).
