Newbie Q : Running Momentics + Generated Code on same linux system ?
Hi,

This is a complete Newbie Q, so I apologize if it has already been answered. I tried browsing through the forum, but
could not get the answer.

I have installed the momentics IDE and suite on a Linux PC (via qnxsdp-6.4.0-200810211530-linux.bin).

I can access the IDE. However, I am not sure how to start using the system.

The 10 steps quick start guide mentions in step 3, to "Now insert the QNX Software Development Platform Installation
DVD or the Installation and Boot CD in the drive of your second machine and boot from it. "
Is there a way to bypass the above, and use the same Linux session for the target session also ?

Thanks !
Abhinav

Are you trying to develop for QNX Neutrino OS? Then no, you cannot use linux instead of neutrino.

No, Linux can't run QNX6 binaries. You can use vmware hosted by Linux to run a QNX6 VM.

So, using vmware-server to create a vm image from
qnxsdp-6.4.0-200810211530-nto.iso should work, right ?

Thanks !
