Neutrino Install
I have downloaded an eval copy of QNX 6.4 (windows host), for the near term am interested in just running Neutrino on
another PC using VMWare. How do I get Neutrino installed on the target since I do not have a CD or DVD?
Re: Neutrino Install
You can create a virtual cd by mounting .iso image and let VMWare think it is a CD drive

You need to download the Self-hosted version for that. Install it from a
Windows host is close to impossible since you can't create a QNX4 filesystem.

RE: Neutrino Install
So, what I really need to do is uninstall what I have and download the
self hosted version?

No you can have both, at least I think the license allows it.

RE: Neutrino Install
Nope. What you can do is use the Windows version as your development
enviroment. Download the x86 self-hosted ISO, create a CD from it and
use this to install Neutrino in VMWare. You can then use your Windows
tools to interact with the VMWare Neutrino target.

GREAT!! Thanks Robert, I did not know (or understand) that I could
download both; looked as if it was one or the other.
