Booting an X86 Target
Hello all,

I am very new to QNX and I am simply trying to get an old dos machine to boot QNX and run something as simple as a hello
world program to get started evaluating QNX. I would think this should be super simple but every doc I read is missing
info or trys to describe every possible iteration of this problem.

I have the x86 BIOS board support package compiled into the following

bsp-ide.ifs
bsp-nfs-ne2000.ifs
bsp-qnx4ide.ifs
bsp-x86bios.ifs

At this point I simply want to take the image (my guess is bsp-ide.ifs) file and make a bootable compact flash that will
boot the image. I can't seem to find any info on how to make a bootable disk from this image file.

Then once I have a way of creating the bootable compact flash I want to take my very simple program and have it run in
the startup script.

Can anyone help with some basic instructions on how to do this?
Re: Booting an X86 Target
Just as a note I am using windows as my development platform and the compact flash on the target appears as an IDE drive
.
