Did the issue of visible newlines when using any of the "term" fonts in 
PED ever get resolved?  I find questions about it from as long as three 
years ago, but no solution.  The problem seems to be related not to the 
PED executable or the fonts files, but to some other file.  Any hints as 
to how to solve this?

This bug is fixed, and the fix is going to be shipped in the next release.

The bug is in the PtMultiText -- it displays the ‘\n’ characters. 
The only fonts that “define” the ‘\n’ (I mean QNX shipped fonts) are the terminal fonts. If you need to use fixed 
fonts in ped, I suggest using the PrimaSansMono BT font.

Object IDs begin with an object prefix and end with a number. For example, if you enter
artf2345
the application will jump directly to an artifact with the ID artf2345. Some valid object prefixes are:
artf	for an artifact
doc	for a document
page	for a project page
topc	for a discussion topic
wiki	for a wiki page
