Momentics 6.4.1 refuses to connect to qconn
Hi there,
for the last 19 hours (really!) I tried to connect Momentics 6.4.1 running on Debian Linux 64bit (kernel 2.6.34) to a
Neutrino641 target which is running in VMWare.
I can ping the guest from the host and the host from the guest. I can telnet to qconn on port 8000. In short, the
network is running pretty fine. The only problem is, whenever I try to create a new target in Momentics: Add new target-
>new QNX->enter the IP->click Finish - Momentics says: not connected.
I get no error whatsoever. I'm just not connected. It drives me really crazy!
Under Windows7 the same configuration works flawlessly but I cannot use Windows in this case, because I have to use
Momentics for a course in university and all the additional libs I get are for linux hosts only. Right now this libs are
NOT used. I have a unchanged default installation of Momentics, so no possible errors from the external libs.
Any help, any idea is greatly appreciated.
Thanks a lot in advance.
Max
