QNX 4 on VMware
I am trying to install the newest .iso QNX4 on VMware 6.5 under Windows Vista.

Everything seems fine until the installer asks me for licenses. I supply the numbers I have in my license certificate
and nothing seems to happen. All the little squares remain red and I can't install a thing.

Is there a problem with my licenses or is the VMware installation?

Regards,
GC

Are you sure that you are entering the license correctly? People get
confused between a '1' (one) and an 'l' (el). Otherwise I don't see any
reason why the license shouldn't be accepted.

Re: QNX 4 on VMware
You were right, QNX 4 installed perfectly after reviewing the license numbers.

Now, QNX Windows starts but I can't move the Mouse or use the keyboard; you have any tips for a VMware insallation?

Thank you,
GC
RE: QNX 4 on VMware
Gabriel,

In my experience aside from the floppy everything in VMware is totally transparent. You can trust VMware ;-) If it
doesn`t work I am pretty sure that if you do the same thing on a somewhat modern machine you`d get the same behaviour.

I know this doesn`t help but at least now you know your problem has nothing to do with VMWare.

VMware emulated a PS2 mouse/keyboard so make sure that is what QNXWindows is setup to use.

Try removing the /etc/config/trap/input.$NODE file and then reboot QNX.
