SATA Drives...
Hi! The Fsys.atapi still can´t "see" the Sata Drives whitout need to put Legacy on BIOS ? Is there any new Fsys.atapi
driver that works with the new motherboards of procesors LGA 115 ? I really appreciate your help, I am updating an QNX4
CPU but I am having compatibility problems with the Fsys.atapi driver. Thanks for any help....

Re: SATA Drives...
Hi Victor,

With the Fsys.atapi nothing has changed.
But you can try the Fsys.ahci driver.
This driver is available from the Latest Software Updates page:

Don't forget to configure your SATA to the AHCI mode in BIOS.

Regards,
Pavel

Re: SATA Drives...
Thanks for your answer Pavel. I download the Fsys.ahci driver frome the site, I made the boot file and copy to .boot, I
change on BIOS to AHCI, but when QNX boots I get the next messege: /bin/Fsys.ahci terminated (SIGSEGV) at 00D1:00000439
and the /dev/hd0 can´t be mounted. Do you have any suggestions ?
Victor
Re: SATA Drives...
Hi Victor,

Try the latest Proc32 with -E0 option.

Re: SATA Drives...
Thanks Pavel, it works fine. Thnaks a lot....
Re: SATA Drives...
With the AHCI on the BIOS and the Fsys.ahci boot fine. But I have one little problem, QNX only "see" 2 hard drivers, I
have installed 3 hard driver, the Bios "see" it, but QNX only see the first 2 hard drives. Any suggestions to "see" the
third or the fourth hard drive ? I really appreciate any suggestion.
Re: SATA Drives...
Hi Victor,

It's quite strange, the Fsys.ahci driver supports up to 32 ports (hard
drives).
Run the Fsys.ahci driver with the increased verbosity level:
# Fsys.ahci ahci verbose=6
You should see how many SATA ports and hard drives are detected and may
be driver will report some errors.

What system board you are using?
Also provide show_pci -vv output.

Regards,
Pavel
