Community file download speed
whenever there is a new IDE release my patience is proofed.
Independant from where I do the download, office or at home
the maximum download speed I get is about 30KB/s.
At home I have a 10MBit/s link and I realy get this speed, it is no line problem other downloads work with the 10MBit/s.

so my conclusion is that it is related to limited speed on server side.

Am I the only one having this "problem"?

cheers

Re: RE: Community file download speed
that's still what I call slow
130MB / 80KB/s = 1664s => more than 20 minutes!
sigh, nobody else who is with me (about to blame)?

RE: RE: Community file download speed
I just did a download of a 90MB iso from the Community QNX CAR project.
Transfer speed was "93.7MB in 11 min 40 sec, 136KB/sec". I have Rogers
high speed express(?) with which I sometimes get 1100KB/sec.

Max

RE: RE: Community file download speed
I am in Ottawa, Canada. By the way, when I said I sometimes get 1100KB/s that's not with the Community site...
