Running packager in Linux
Hi

I have installed QNX momentics for linux hosts and I'm compiling for QNX in Linux and I'm very happy for that.

I also want to make QNX packages in linux. Right now I can only generate the packages in a QNX development installation.
But I would be nice if I could make them in Linux too.

Anyone know how can I do that ?

Thans a lot,

Rodrigo

Packages that I could use with the package system of qnx. The thnigs you do with "packager" :)

.qpr/.qpk/.qpm files. I generate those files that then I could use with the QNX installer.

I don't know if I'm clear, from "use packager" I get "packager 2.0 - Package Creation Utility. Creates a set of QPR
packages, for use with the QNX Installers."

Do you understand what I mean ?

Yes. I believe this whole packager thing has been deprecated.

My understanding is there is no official way of installing software anymore. You have to roll up your own. That being
said I don't know if the packager stuff was ever available on non self-hosted.
