Sample test code for driver api’s testing

Hi,

I am looking for Sample test codes for CAN and Serial drivers and I plan to use them for Imx6 solo/Dual (Part number 
IMX6SDLRM).
I looked for sample codes but the search wasn’t fruitful. Any help will be appreciated.
For CAN testing I plan to use PCAN tool running on PC to send data to CAN driver on the processor
