Monitoring wikis in Foundry27
I just noticed that if you monitor a general wiki page (e.g. Networking), you don't automatically monitor any of its
descendants. Is this intended? It isn't what I expected.
RE: Monitoring wikis in Foundry27
Hi Steve,

This is by design. There is no formal concept of a hierarchy in the wiki.

You can monitor all change to a project's wiki by:
1) Select "My Workspace" on the Foundry27 menu bar
2) Select "Monitoring" on the second level top menu bar
3) Select the project you want to monitor on the left pane
4) Select "Wiki" on the right pane

  Thanks

That seems to be better at stopping monitoring than starting. After I said
that I wanted to monitor the Networking wiki, the wiki page didn't display
the bell icon, but the Users Monitoring window said I was still monitoring
it. Which one was correct? The subpages didn't display the bell or list me
as monitoring them.

I assume it works. Let us know if you don't get any notifications upon wiki
page changes.

Re: RE: Monitoring wikis in Foundry27
I was notified of a change on the Networking wiki, so monitoring is working (even if the wiki pages don't display the
bell icon, which I consider to be a bug).

Next question: is there a way to compare versions of a wiki page? The notification email has a short description of the
change, but I'd like to see the details.

Thanks for any help.

No, comparing wiki pages is a feature of the next SFEE release. I don't have
a date at this point for when we will upgrade.
