Newsgroup
Are there any plan to move the newsgroup (ntp.qnx.com) to this site?

RE: Newsgroup
There should soon be a posting in the newsgroups to publicize which forum
they are being replaced with.

Re: RE: Newsgroup
Hello,

Would it be possible to read forums via nntp reader? Or could one use RSS reader to monitor new items in forums?

Thanks, Pavel
RE: RE: Newsgroup
No, but you can use your e-mail client by using the forum monitoring
feature. See "Subscribing to a forum" in the "Portal Usage Guide" accessible
from the "Learn how to use the foundry" link on the right of the community
home page(in the "About Foundry27" box)... or simply click follow this link:

One thing to note about the e-mail option, depending on your e-mail client,
you will have hit/miss luck with the threading. WIth outlook, the client
properly threads the messages together, but with gmail they all come in
as individual messages instead of as threads. Kind of frustrating.

Re: RE: RE: Newsgroup
Thanks,

is there any way to filter messages from foundry (move all of them to special mail folder) ?
I have received several of them, but I haven't found any "tag" according to which I could create filter.

Regards, Pavel
Re: RE: RE: Newsgroup
I filter based on *community.qnx.com in the reply to.

Hope this helps,
 Thomas

Re: RE: RE: Newsgroup
I have MS Outlook and I haven't found a way to create a rule based on "reply to" address.

RE: RE: RE: Newsgroup
Hmm. I filter them based on "To: general-community". It does not work for
you?

Yes and no...

I also get mails from momentics-community and others...

It seems filter on "*-community" would be better.

And still there are adresses like "osrev-core_os", "ostech-core_os", "*-networking"...
And spam we use likes to mark posts from foundry as spam...
Re: RE: RE: Newsgroup
Here's the Outlook rule I use to filter all email messages I get from a particular forum (dfd64-internal_test_team in
this case) into a box:

Apply this rule after the message arrives
with community.qnx.com in the recipient's address
and with dfd64-internal_test_team in the message header
move it to the dfd64 folder

I tried a bunch of other variants and this seems to work best for me.
